- Be respectful
Treat other members, staff, and players with respect.
Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, discrimination, or deliberately hostile behavior is not allowed.
Disagreements are fine, but keep them civil and focused on the topic.
- No spam or disruptive content
Do not spam, flood threads, or repeatedly post meaningless content.
Do not intentionally disrupt discussions or derail threads.
- Keep content appropriate
Do not post pornographic, excessively graphic, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Keep the forum suitable for the wider Blackwater community.
- No advertising
Do not advertise services, communities, products, projects, or other unrelated content on the forum.
This includes advertisements for other Discord servers, websites, bots, or communities.
- Use the appropriate category
Create threads in the category that best matches their subject.
Staff may move threads if they are posted in the wrong category.
- Do not abuse the forum
Do not attempt to exploit bugs, bypass restrictions, impersonate other users or staff, or abuse forum features.
Do not attempt to gain access to content or functionality you are not authorized to use.
If you discover a security issue, do not publicly post exploit details. Contact Blackwater staff privately instead.
- Respect privacy
Do not share personal information about yourself or other people without permission.
This includes private messages, contact information, account details, or other information that was not intended to be public.
- Follow staff instructions
Staff may remove content, close threads, restrict accounts, or take other moderation action when necessary.
Please follow reasonable staff instructions and use the appropriate channels for disputes or appeals.
- Keep support and reports useful
When reporting a bug or requesting support, provide enough information for the issue to be understood and investigated.
Avoid repeatedly posting the same issue across multiple threads or categories.
Do not intentionally submit false or misleading reports.
- Use common sense
Not every situation can be covered by a written rule.
Staff may take action against behavior that clearly goes against the purpose of the forum, even if it is not explicitly listed above.
